Toshiba will invest tens of billions yen to enhance production of LED light bulbs
NHK 30 Japanese media, citing the related persons' sources that because the sights of LED bulbs demand will continue to expand, so in order to enhance the production of LED light bulb system, Toshiba will invest tens of billions of yen for LED light bulbs equipment. As time of 08:57 am Taipei 30th Sep so far, Toshiba rose 0.43%, to ¥ 470 JPY, and once up to 1.07%.
Reported that, along with the Panasonic, Sharp and other Japanese motor giant have entered the indoor LED bulbs market, and also all appliance Factory by fabless model to cut costs, make the LED bulb prices in the past six months have cut nearly 50%, but the price of each bulb still as high as about 4,000 yen, It's 10 times than the incandescent light bulb; so Toshiba also plans to invest in the equipment to increase the productivity of production lines, in order to further drive down manufacturing costs.
